We've kept James on his "normal" routine of heading to daycare each day while Mom is home on maternity leave with Henry. Henry and Mom get some quality time each day together and so does Daddy if he happens to be home.
Thus far Henry is much more laid back than James ever was. He's been sleeping in 4-5 hour spurts in the evening and doesn't nurse as frequently as James did so we keep wondering if this is just a phase or if this is just his style. Regardless, we're accepting of it as it's made life pretty predictable right now which one can't often say with a newborn at home.
He is now one month old and we can tell he's grown as his legs are now finally filling his sleepers and we should be able to go without the head support in his car seat here soon. We don't know how much he weighs right now, but if its any indication from the number of diapers were changing at this house lately, he's eating enough! He'll go in for his two-month check up at the end of March.
We continue to try to get out of the house a bit each day - which is a little more challenging with winter weather but walking at the mall and the gym has been a welcome respite from being inside the house each day. Another eight weeks at home with Mom ... let's hope spring "springs" soon!
