Buddies

James has been a wondeful big brother to Henry since we came home with him a few weeks ago. He's quite the little helper and always making us aware when he is crying.

"Baby is crying ... " followed by, "It's okay Baby Henry," he repeats over and over.

We're pretty excited to have two boys - and can't wait to see them grow together and be buddies. James is already sharing his toys and keeps talking about giving Henry a bottle, which he'll be able to help with in a few short weeks.

In honor of his Big Brother status James has worn this shirt several times to school and he loves telling his teachers (and friend Clara) about his new brother, Baby Henry.

We anticipate many adventures with these two - and in the mean time, they'll be keeping us busy!!

Introducing ...

The newest member of the Clark family - Henry Matthew Clark.

Henry was welcomed into the world on January 28 at 1:52 am.  He was 6 lbs, 8 oz and 19.5 inches long.

The entire Clark family is doing well and getting used to being a family of four.  James has been a great help as a big brother and is excited to have a playmate.

We are excited to share him with you all and can't wait to introduce him to you soon!

Little Helper

James has been a great helper in the kitchen as of late and him and Mom made up some muffins last week to tide over a craving that he was requesting one morning for breakfast.  The end result - yummy banana chocolate chip muffins!

James donned his apron that Santa brought him and did a lot of the pouring of the ingredients into the bowl and mixing with the whisk.  The kitchen floors as a result need some cleaning, but the time spent with him doing something that gets him so excited was well worth it ... and the muffins were delicious too (as evidenced by James excited face in the last picture below)!

Sesame Street Live

In mid-Jnauary we traveled downtown Minneapolis (via train of course) to see Sesame Street Live with James.  When we heard the show's theme was, "Elmo Makes Music" we knew it was something that we just had to see.

James enjoyed every minute of it - including the train rides to and from.  He got to see a lot of his Sesame Street Friends and sing songs.  Mom and Dad got quite the thrill just watching his reaction to the show and seeing his face light up.

James always asked when a song was done and the actors left the stage, "Where'd they go?"  We told him they were taking a break and would be back soon.  That somehow sufficed until another group came on stage and the cycle repeated itself.

James loved seeing his monster friends and still continues to talk about it!
