See Me Grow

We've been attempting to recreate a similar photo each time James' milestone pictures are taken every few months and we thought we'd put these two side by side so you can see how much he's changed since birth. The first picture was at 1-month and the second is at 6-months. He's growing like a weed and eating us out of the house - let's hope that trend doesn't continue through highschool or we may need to sign him up for the offensive line, even though he keeps telling us he wants to be a quarterback some day :) Some day will come soon enough - for now we'll enjoy all the little things he does that continue to make us smile!

Made You Smile!

Auntie Megan came over a month or so ago to capture James again in his element and all we had a great time making James laugh and giggle. She's a photographer extraordinaire and the photos prove just that. These are some of our favorites from his 6-month photo shoot! Enjoy!

Mommas Away the Kids Will Play!

Mom went to Alexandria for the weekend to hang out with the ladies so Daddy and I went to see Grandma and Grandpa Clark and Grandma and Grandpa Bragg. We sure had fun. We started out on Friday night in Eagan where I got to visit with Auntie Jenna and Mallory. We laughed and giggled and spit up and I ate dinner there. Uncle-To-Be Arthur let me play with Sophie and my other Uncle-To-Be Kyle and I chatted about Hockey. Sophie guarded me as I slept all night long.

The next morning, I woke up at 5:30 and Grandpa gave me my morning bottle. When I finished, Grandpa and I took a nap until about 9:00. Then we had pancakes and sausage (though, I'm not allowed to have any yet!). Here I am with Auntie Mal after she gave me my morning bottle. I sure was a hungry fellow after all of that sleep:)

I then made my way over to hang out with Jon and Rob who were also without their lovely ladies and we played Axis and Allies and I got to play with Elliot and Greta. I hadn't napped much so far today so Daddy let me sleep from 2:00-5:00pm so I could catch up after all that fun I had with the Clarks! It was then time to go hang out with the Bragg's and I got to see a rare event, Daddy cooked in the kitchen with Grandma and Grandpa Bragg! I also got to spend some time with Daddy's neighbors and first lawn-mowing customers- the Brabecs! We had brunch together and I got to hear all sorts of stories about Daddy climbing trees and walking through their yard. I'll have to mow their yard one day:)

Here I am checking out Grandpa's scruff! I'm learning to talk and speak and so I like watching and rubbing faces to see what I can find out about those magical mouths and those beautiful white things!
Here is the calm before the storm as Grandma and Grandpa and I sang "Cotton Eyed Joe" We played it really loud on the Radio and I got to show off my Oshkosh B'Goshes and toothless giggle and grin for Daddy and everyone to see. I sure like music, particularly the kind where I can bounce and giggle a lot.
I had a great time this weekend and Mom has permission to leave anytime she wants 'cause Daddy and I can have a real good time all around town with all the family!
