We're Gonna Win Twins!

James attended another Twins baseball game yesterday - this time with both Mom and Dad! He enjoyed checking everything out, taking a nap and testing out the comfy seats in the Legends Club. We were definitely spoiled yesterday with our seats and the weather! Even though James donned his rally hat for a few innings, no such luck, the Twins lost the game. James didn't seem to mind though, he had a great day!

Mother's Day Fun!!

James got to "Jump Around" the Twin Cities on Mother's Day traveling to Hastings, St. Paul and Eagan to say hello to his grandmothers, great-grandmothers, great aunts, uncles and other family members.
He loves to snuggle as you all know, but he is also enjoying rough-housing, and now, crawling around and on top of people and places! He's also learned another use for newspapers and Sunday advertisements.
To end the day, Mom enjoyed her Daisies with James and then James splashed and played in the bath. He woke up the next morning bright-eyed and bushy-tailed after his wonderful day of visiting family!

Milestone!

James took his first forward crawl across the room at daycare yesterday afternoon and continued to show us his new skill at home last night. Mom and Dad will be busy baby proofing the house this weekend needless to say. He's already got his eyes on the electronics!

Playtime with (Cousin) Elliot!

Check out Adventures of Peapod for some pictures of Elliot and James having some fun. Elliot was so good about sharing his toys with James he was overwhelmed. (Uncle) Robbie also read the boys a story before bedtime.

A Trip to the Zoo and Conservatory

We traveled to Como Zoo this past weekend to celebrate Mom's birthday and take in the sights at the zoo and the conservatory. James had a great time checking things out and people watching and I think he enjoyed the fish and the flowers the most since he could get up close to them.

James is now 9 months old and we had his well-child check up last week. He now weighs 21 lbs and is 28.5 inches long. He is still on the verge of crawling - he's now got the backwards direction down and just needs to put it in forward gear and he'll be movin!
