My First Twins Game

James attended his first Twins game this past weekend. Sadly Daddy missed it because of the Iceland volcano delaying his return to the states for an extra few days. Uncle Dan joined us though and we had a great time. It was an afternoon game so we enjoyed the sun - or should we say it was great sleeping weather? James slept a good portion of the game due to the heat I think - and when he wasn't sleeping he sure was flirting with the ladies behind us. We had a great time and hope to go again soon, with Daddy this time!

The Great Escape

James has found comfort and joy in his bouncy chair that we often place him in while we are getting ready in the morning - it plays music, it vibrates, it has toys - what more could a kid ask for? Well this past week I guess he's asking to place him someplace else as I flipped on my hair dryer and ten seconds later I hear, "Ah, ah, ah ..." - lo and behold our little Houdini was trying to escape. So ends his time in the bouncy chair and now for his next trick ...

March Rolled In ... and Out Like a Bear Cub

James, our little bear cub, has been keeping us busy these past few weeks. From cheering on the Gopher basketball team in their NCAA tournament game ...

to enjoying baths in the "big tub" his mind is racing with ideas ... on how to move! He's managed to learn how to get to his tummy from a sitting position but still can't quite manage to figure out to move once he gets there.

Our daycare center celebrated their one-year anniversary of being open last week and James and Dad attended the festivities. It was a Country Hoe-down and James got adorned with a bandanna to celebrate with his teachers.

The little bear cub was so exhausted when he got home it was hard to wake him from his slumber to put him in his crib.

Happy Easter to everyone and we hope the bunny finds you!
