In early October we celebrated Homecoming at the University of Minnesota. Friday night Mom and Dad enjoyed marching in the parade and tooting their horns and on Saturday James joined in for the fun.
Although James had been at the stadium once before for an exhibition game, he was only a few weeks old then, this was his first game and he seemed to love it! He surprisingly was content for most of the game and even made a debut on the big screen jumbotron during halftime as Dad carried him on his back in a carrier. Luck have it, this was the only time he slept at the game. Go figure, with 300 instruments blaring, he falls asleep. Perhaps the ear plugs had something to do with it?
The weekend fun continued on Sunday when we attended the Gopher Men's Hockey Team's first game of the season with Anna, Jon & Greta. Given it was a late start for James we only stayed for half the game, but he seemed to enjoy all the activity of the ice arena and cheering on his team to victory!
